We don’t learn from experience.

We learn from reflecting on experience.

-John Dewey

Welcome to O₂ Consulting where we specialize in evidence-informed Reflective Practice support for leaders and professionals who want to be more intentional, proactive, and responsive in their life and work by using the power of Reflective Practice. Reflective Practice is just like it sounds. It’s the art of slowing down to observe our thoughts, feelings, and actions so that growth and development can occur. Sounds simple, right? It’s not at all! Doing it well also requires a trained Reflective Consultant as a partner, otherwise we risk reinforcing unhelpful patterns.

Our world moves fast, and we tend to forge forward engaging in the same responses, making the same assumptions we’ve always made. These default settings often haven’t served us well. Reflective practice with a trusted mentor sharpens our focus so we see things that were previously out of awareness. It helps us internalize learning and make shifts in our interactions that are more productive, effective, and that make us feel better about our experiences with those around us in the long run. Reflective practice creates brave space.

Reflective Practice support is ABSOLUTELY the superpower secret you’ve been missing no matter your business setting and regardless of your industry. Take a quick look at how Reflective Consultation support from O₂ Consulting might be the game changer you have been needing.

“Between stimulus and response there is a space.

In that space is our power to choose our response.

In our response lies our growth and our freedom”

— Viktor Frankl
